Sewerby Hall & Gardens
Sewerby Hall & Gardens is located 2 miles North of Bridlington in Sewerby Village. Experience what this historic country house has to offer. Set in acres of beautiful countryside, with breathtaking views of the Yorkshire coast, Sewerby Hall has something for everyone.
The grade I listed country house is set in 50 acres of landscaped gardens in a cliff top location on the outskirts of Sewerby village. Almost entirely rebuilt between 1714 and 1720 by John Greame. Traces remain of the ancient core of the house, but Greame's rebuilding forms the nucleus of the present mansion which remains largely intact. There is an Amy Johnson Museum at Sewerby Hall with charting the life and times of Yorkshire's famous female flying ace who was born in Hull in 1903.
Sewerby Children’s Zoo is a wonderful collection of domestic and wild mammals, birds and reptiles, bound to appeal to all ages. The zoo is host to many fascinating species, some of which are threatened animals including llamas, monkeys, parakeets, Cameroon sheep and there is a fantastic aviary. Due to a successful breeding programme, there is an increasing number of Humboldt penguins.The penguin pond layout allows you to see the penguins swimming or sunbathing and feeding time (3.00pm daily) is especially popular.You can see creatures from all over the world in just one day including new arrivals of rheas, Shetland sheep and giant rabbits.
You can take a ride up to Sewerby on the Bridlington Land Train which travels up and down the North and South Promenade and further to Sewerby, The train runs approximately every 20 minutes and picks up at North side-Sewerby Lime Kiln Lane & Leisure World. Price Adults £1.50 Children 70p. OAP 70p.
Bempton Cliffs
Each year, visitors from across the country and beyond flock to Bempton Cliffs to witness the spectacular sight of over 200,000 seabirds residing on the 400ft high chalk cliff face. The cliffs have become recognised by the RSPB for being the top place in the country to see breeding seabirds in their natural environment, with the best times to visit between April and September. View the gannets, guillemots and the colourful puffins from the specially built vantage points at Bempton Cliffs. The sight, the sound and the smell of this amazing seabird colony is something not to be missed.
Flamborough Head and Lighthouse
Flamborough Head, located between Bridlington and Filey is a delightful semi-rural village and of the great gems of the Yorkshire Coast. Flamborough is a headland, which is bypassed by the main coast road. At its heart is the village of Flamborough, to the north is the North Landing, to the south the South Landing, to the east the two lighthouses and to the west, Dane's Dyke, an ancient defensive earthwork stretching from one coast to the other.
A Franco-American squadron fought the Battle of Flamborough Head with a pair of Royal Navy frigates in the American Revolutionary War on the 23rd September 1779 In the engagement, USS Bonhomme Richard and Pallas, with USS Alliance, captured HMS Serapis and Countess of Scarborough, the best-known incident of Capt. John Paul Jones' naval career. The toposcope at the lighthouse commemorates the 180th anniversary of the battle.
The Promenades Shopping Centre, Bridlington
The Promenades is a 75,000 sq ft shopping centre providing a quality covered environment located at the heart of Bridlington.

Bridlington Harbour Heritage Museum
Located at Harbour Road, Bridlington, YO15 3AN, the Harbour Heritage Museum is operated by the Bridlington Sailing Coble Preservation Society (BSCPS). The main exhibit is the sailing coble 'Three Brothers' built in 1912 which is moored in the harbour. The museum includes photographs, harbour history models, diorama of fishing techniques, video presentation and art gallery. Entrance fee 30p.
John Bull's World of Rock & Candy Kingdom
Open between Easter and October, and situated just two miles outside Bridlington at Carnaby, John Bull's World of Rock gives you the chance to tour a rock factory. You can even join in with the workforce and produce your own rock and lollipops. Next door to John Bull’s rock factory is the new Candy Kingdom. This is a fantastic indoor adventure play center specially designed for 0 - 12 year olds and features the largest soft play area in Bridlington. Admission £2, Children £1.50. Free Parking.
Bridlington Pirate Ship
Father and son, Arthur and Sean Newby had the idea of a converting their unique commercial fishing boat, "Sportsman" into pirate ship, and providing great value tours of Bridlington Bay, with the opportunity for children to experience an exciting sea voyage.
